Three Tips for Managing Stress

  1. Take a break! It may seem difficult to find time to step away from a pressing deadline or massive credit card bill, but taking a few minutes for yourself will help you become more productive and feel less overwhelmed.
  2. Exercise! A brief walk, run, or dance can lower your levels of anxiety, depression, and stress. Your well-being will increase for hours afterwards.
  3. Get support! Sharing your concerns or feelings with another person can help relieve stress. However, it's a good idea to make sure the person you confide in is not part of the reason you're stressed.
