A Girl's Best Friend

Here's a very touching story about a toddler and her four-legged friend: Alida was born with a rare lung disease that requires her to always be connected to a 6 lb oxygen tank. With the help of Mr. Gibbs, she is able to do all of the fun things kids her age do: play in playgrounds and ride her bike. The scruffy dog has been taught to stay by her side and carry her oxygen tank. It's unusual for service dogs to work with kids younger than five, but Mr. Gibbs has been doing a great job and has become an integral part of the family.
